Explore, create, and play your way through a one-of-a-kind kid-sized city from the year 1895! At Battle Creek, Play City, 1895, children take the lead—trying out old-fashioned jobs, exploring hands-on exhibits, and stepping straight into the past.

Ride the rails at the Train Station, send a telegram, or take the stage at the Opera House. Pour a frothy mug of root beer at the Saloon, play vintage card games, or dress up for a puppet show.

Run a pretend restaurant or general store, craft a quilt patch, tool a piece of leather, or tack up a toy horse at the blacksmith and saddlery.

Everything is playful, creative, and full of discovery—just like life in 1895 (with fewer chores and more giggles).

Cooking Contests

Bakers get your spatulas ready! Peanut Butter Cookies are just the beginning. Our foodie contests will cover both sweet and savory categories. Be recognized for your kitchen chops when you receive accolades, prizes, and sweet victory.

Experiential Hands-On

Learning isn't boring when you have fun doing it. Students will experience hands-on work stations where they'll have fun, I mean learn, about science in the kitchen. From the smallest germs to the messiest ingredients, these students will make and eat their creations.

Live Music & Performers

The streets will be vibrant with live musical performances on each street and the Kellogg area will be rockin' with headliners. Bring the whole family to enjoy the sounds and sights.
